Instructions for making Canadian Wagyu Beef Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F, coat with Yukon Golden Grape Seed Oil and bake. Fry the potatoes until soft, then press well. Heat a large frying pan with a little wine oil. When hot, add onions and fry until translucent. Add the whole leaf of beef and pork. Cut the meat into small pieces and brown. Add chopped garlic and mashed potatoes to the skillet.
  2. Add spices (mustard powder, cloves, all spices, thyme, sage, cinnamon, thyme, salt). In a small bowl, whisk together meat broth and 3 tablespoons flour until smooth. Pour the mixture into the pot. Cook everything until the sauce thickens. Refrigerate the filling for an hour or overnight.

Cover the two crusts together, pull the top crust under the bottom crust and pinch to create a decorative edge. Brush the top of the shell with the beaten egg. Bake at 375°F for 45-50 minutes or until pie crust is golden. Serve hot and enjoy your meal!
